STEVE DITKO, artist, was born in Pennsylvania, USA, 1927. He is co-creator of Spider-Man and Dr. Strange, and creator of The Creeper, Hawk and Dove, Mr. A, Static, Shade the Changing Man, The Mocker and many others.

Ditko does not give interviews: if you want to know about Ditko, read his work. With respect to that, this site lets the work speak for itself, leaving the discussion to other forums.

WARREN PUBLISHING

In the mid-'60s, Ditko produced sixteen stories for Warren, mostly written by the late Archie Goodwin, all but three using an ink-wash technique. They are widely considered to be amongst his finest work as an artist.

GLOBE COMMUNICATIONS
